Responding to: “Yemaya’s Peace” by Shelley Bruce

My poem, “Flirtatious Full Moon”, was inspired by Shelley Bruce’s painting, “Yemaya’s Peace”.  As I looked up at the full moon one night, I saw her dancing in the clouds. I felt like Yemaya, basking in the cosmic energy of her magical moon rays.  Closing my eyes and breathing deep, my heart filled with lunar wisdom.
